On Meditation

So, I'm thinking of an apple.
and before I know it, I'm thinking of this great apple I
Once ate in a park on a bench near a sleeping dog,

Which so closely resembled mean little Butchie,
Who expired at Grandma's house when
Wheel of Fortune was ending

But still, people live in shacks Over There, at this very moment
(At least that's the impression I got from the car window)
And they don't have apples to eat
even when it's apple season...

So, I'm thinking about that apple.
When really, I meant to think of an apple.
Singularly and Decidedly One All Encompassing Apple.
But, like most things worth doing
It's very difficult
and makes me hungry.
